Long-distance love

Sarah and Brendan have been living apart in two very different U.S. states: Texas and California. Sarah is working as an engineer in the oil industry and Brendan is finishing up a PhD in immigration history. This fall, they will finally join their lives together forever as they get married in Montreal, the city where they first met.

Engagement photos at Farine Five Roses

Early this spring, we met up at Peel Bassins so we could feature the iconic Farine Five Roses sign in their engagement photos. A Montreal landmark, the Farine Five Roses sign has been visible in the Montreal skyline for as long as I can remember, blinking its red neon letters into the night sky as you drive in over the Champlain Bridge.

Let’s pretend we’re in The Titanic!

Then we wandered along De La Commune street, taking relaxed engagement photos.

A warm break inside Tommy Café

We wrapped the photoshoot up with some hot drinks at Tommy Café, an exciting new café in Old Montreal, with a simple, luminous interior and gorgeous old windows.
