Montreal wedding photographer – COVID-19 response
I hope you’re staying safe and sane during these tough times. As COVID-19 is forcing most of us to cancel our plans and stay home, there’s a lot of uncertainty going around. Especially when it comes to planning a wedding!
Along with other wedding photographers, my top priority is to respect any government measures for public health and safety, so we can reduce the spread of the virus. We can beat this if we all work together and do our part.
I’ve put together the info below to help you navigate this situation as stress-free as possible.
Consultations and meetings
Based on the stay-home government recommendations, I am not doing any in-person meetings at this time. However, I am still available for meetings or consultations through online video (Facetime, Skype or Zoom). If you have questions, you can also easily reach me at any time via email.
Engagement sessions or portrait sessions
I’m following the government recommendations to stay home unless for essentials. That means I’m currently not accepting any new bookings for engagement sessions or other portrait sessions.
This includes no outdoors shoots or front porch photo sessions. I understand that some couples or families may wish to document this time of social distancing and some portrait photographers are offering outdoor options to do this in ways that feel safe. However, I do not feel comfortable taking any risks with the health of my clients or myself.
That means all photoshoots are on pause until new order.
Planning a wedding is a huge project in the best of times — then along comes a pandemic. I completely understand that you may have a lot of concerns and unknowns about your future wedding.
I’ll do my best to be available if you have questions and need to run anything by me.
Stress-free change of date for existing clients
If you need to postpone your wedding due to COVID-19, please keep me in the loop as soon as you have a few dates to consider. I will be able to confirm my availability and ensure that date is open for your wedding.
I’ll be rescheduling weddings with a simple update to your contract, so that your 2020 prices and any special offers will still apply even if you need to reschedule to 2021.
New wedding bookings
Because of COVID-19, there will be many 2020 wedding dates postponed to 2021 and my calendar will be filling up quickly. So I’d invite you book your 2021 wedding date as soon as possible. To get started, just send me a message and we’ll set up a video consultation together.
In the meantime, please take good care of yourselves and your loved ones!
I’m looking forward to a time when I’ll once again get to photograph hugs and high fives!
