Winter proposal on Mount-Royal

During their visit to Montreal, I photographed this surprise winter proposal on Mount-Royal for Amar and Jassi.

Amar planned the proposal photoshoot in advance from Toronto and we set up everything in secret to capture the moment without spoiling the surprise for Jassi.

Winter weather for an early morning proposal

The soon-to-be-engaged couple headed to the top of Mount Royal for an early morning view of the city.

Jassi had no idea that Amar was planning to propose.

But a photographer was waiting to secretly capture the wedding proposal.

The couple approached the belvedere railing to take some photos of the amazing view.

I discretely took some candid photos of them, as I pretended to be another tourist.

Then, he popped the big question!

I captured the surprise proposal and her emotional reaction.

Then, because it was freezing cold, we headed into the nearby chalet to warm up and for a few indoor engagement portraits. 

After a brief photoshoot, the happy couple headed off to celebrate together indoors.
