The photoshoot vibe: Everyday life in The Plateau

Marie-Hélène and Louis chose to do their Montreal engagement photos in the Plateau, their own neighbourhood. To match their neighbourhood, they chose outfits that spelled trendy and casual weekend walks. We stopped at a fruit market for some creative shots and then strolled on through the quiet streets, taking some portraits by the distinctive Montreal metal staircases that are abundant in the Plateau. We also wandered through some alleyways near their apartment, that were covered in lush green vines.

Engagement photos with special memories

Because the Plateau is Marie-Hélène and Louis’s stomping ground, some of the photos were extra meaningful to them. We were able to stop for photos at the spot where they had their first kiss to add a personal touch to their engagement photos.
