Wedding party with balloons on a bridge crossing the Lachine Canal

Montreal wedding photos in Lachine and at Chapiteau Le Monarque

Kaysy and Brian are a fun-loving couple that enjoys playful, natural photos. I had a great time working with them for their backyard garden engagement photos in the countryside.

They wanted to make their wedding one of the best parties of their lives. Their families are super important to them and there was a huge turn-out to celebrate the happy event!

They were married in a religious ceremony at the Eglise Saints-Anges, in Montreal.

The wedding party

It was easy to see that friendships are incredibly meaningful to Kaysy and Brian. They had a fairly large wedding party with 6 bridesmaids and 6 groomsmen. These guys and girls spent the whole day hanging out with the bride and groom. We took our time after the ceremony getting plenty of crazy, fun wedding photos with the gang. The highlight was when they used a katana sword to saber open a bottle of champagne. Epic!

Photos along the Lachine Canal

For these wedding photos, we headed right across the street from the church to the park near the Lachine Fur Trade museum. This riverside park is such a convenient photo location if you’re getting married at the Saint-Anges parish. It’s a beautiful green space with a narrow canal crisscrossed with little bridges.

Wedding reception at Le Monarque

After the wedding portraits, Kaysy and Brian celebrated with their friends and family at the Chapiteau Le Monarque, a huge outdoor tent venue. Everyone was more than ready to join the bride and groom and dance the night away.
