Couple kissing after the surprise proposal

A winter proposal in Old Montreal

On December 13, 2014 (yes, that’s 12/13/14!), Jetmir and Sara were having dinner at Jardin Nelson in Old Montreal. Little did Sara know that Jet had a ring in his pocket and was planning to propose in just a few minutes.

As they exited the restaurant, they strolled through the snow-filled Place Jacques-Cartier. They took a few selfies and wandered hand-in-hand towards the top of the square.

Since there were quite a few tourists around, Sara had no idea there was a photographer snapping shots of her and Jet.

When they reached the top of the square, the big moment had finally come. Jet knelt down in the snow as he pulled out a ring box and popped the question! Wow!

Romantic photos after the proposal

After a happy hug and kiss, Jet pointed out that there had been a photographer shooting them and I came over to say hi and congratulations!

We spent some time taking some romantic engagement photos of the two of them at their inn, the historical Maison Pierre du Calvet, and then around Old Montreal.
