Rainy day surprise proposal on Mount-Royal

Congratulations to Jon and Brynn! He surprised her with a proposal during their weekend trip to Montreal!

Proposal at the Mount Royal Chalet

After a lot of research and planning, Jon went ahead with a surprise proposal on Mount Royal, since the nearby Chalet du Mont-Royal has space inside to shelter from the rain if needed. Despite the rainy muggy weather, they had a cute little picnic on top of Mount Royal. I found out nothing was going to stop Jon’s plan for a romantic date!

When I texted Jon that I was in position near them on the mountain, he knew he was good to go ahead with the surprise proposal. I was able to get quite close to them unnoticed with my small camera and snapped pictures during the big question. She said yes!

After the proposal, I continued shooting their happy smiles and chatter, then we took some engagement portraits around the Chalet and on the nearby Kondiaronk Belvedere, where there’s a perfect view of Montreal’s skyline.
